We are officially kicking off a week of Gift Guides, broken down by the people you actually shop for. First and foremost, this gift guide is dedicated to the ones who cook for us. Amidst a year of eating at home, a few special gadgets make it all a bit more fun. I'm a firm believer in elevating the everyday, so many of these gifts are upgraded versions of what someone might already have. They are intended to inspire, support, and thrill the gift recipient, all while really being a gift to yourself since you get to reap the rewards in taste testing.
Seeking out the perfect gift can often feel daunting. But over the years, I've found that the secret to a great gift is selecting something utilitarian, and making it extraordinary. These "everyday items" are typically the ones people don't want to invest in for themselves. They feel like a luxury, even in the smallest of items, that spark joy every time they are used.
Stay tuned this week as we continue our series of Gift Guides, including a curated list of what someone like myself might want. Hint hint.
