Gift Guides: Julia's Picks

With everything going on it feels like we're all ready for a little holiday cheer. This year we've got a bunch of gift guides in the queue including one for the cook in your life, the homebody, a closet edition and the kids. Also as a bonus Laura, our senior designer, and Jess, our intern, will be sharing their holiday picks! I can't wait for you to get a sense of Laura and Jess's personal style and the items they would love to gift and get this season.

Without further ado, here are my holiday picks for 2020. It's a mix of things I wouldn't mind finding under the tree or items that I think would make the perfect gift for a loved one in my life.

This year I chose a smattering of items that I would absolutely love to give. As we're putting in longer hours at the office, Laura mentioned that she would love an espresso machine for an afternoon pick me up, we totally need a kettle too and these little copper spoons would be a great little touch.

After I posted the #jmielliotave project y'all loved the Flowerpot lamp, it might just make it's way under the tree for my husband who desperately needs a new office desk top.

We purchased a Pieceworks puzzle last Christmas and still talk about how fun it was to put it together. This year we purchased another one for our low key small family gathering. These vintage bookshelf board games might also make an appearance.

My sister and sister in law just had babies and I'm convinced a backpack for a diaper bag is the only way to go. Add in a new sheet set, a beanie I can't leave the house without, some luxurious lotion and these adorable blue light glasses and those early days of motherhood might not be so hard.

This year I absolutely love the idea of giving items for the home or closet that will be useful and that little bit of luxury. These dishcloths, alarm clock, candle, whiskey glasses, and linen throw fit the bill.
