The November Edit

If we had to play favorites, Thanksgiving would likely top our list of best holidays. There’s something really special about sharing a meal with people you love for a gathering focused solely on gratitude—nothing more and nothing less. We’ve all been through so much in 2020 + 2021, and we’re ready to simply celebrate and give thanks, now more than ever.

So as we step into this holiday season, we wanted to take a moment and share a few things that have brought us joy over the past several weeks. It’s a mix of wardrobe additions, home pieces, show recommendations, and exciting studio news. Keep an eye out for more official updates ahead, but in the meantime, we hope you love our favorites for the month of November.

TO SHOP

The temperatures are quickly dropping here in Minneapolis, and it’s time to reach for all the layers. This season, we’re leaning in with a few new oversized and stretchy wardrobe items that have comfort written all over them. I’ve currently got my eye on this Madewell Pullover Sweater and these Everlane Barrel Pants for festive holiday gatherings. But when it comes to winter evenings at home, loungewear like these Nike Cropped Sweatpants are a must.

My love for the brand Illesteva continues. They’re all about creating modern twists on classic eyewear with sunglasses that work all year long. I purchased one of their new frame styles, and couldn’t love them more.

We’ve sourced this coffee table twice for client projects and can confirm it’s just as beautiful in person. I particularly love its versatility to work in a wide variety of spaces.

TO FOLLOW

My sister started the most amazing kids clothing and toy brand, Woset World. It’s full of well-made clothing and toys that inspire kids and families to think creatively. Have a look at their website, and keep them in mind as you shop for littles on your holiday gift list.

Over at the studio, we are preparing for our 2022 projects and we are using Pinterest to collect new ideas on the daily! Our projects will be taking us coast to coast again this year, and we are so excited to interpret our clients' vision for their new homes. We are booking well into 2022, so please inquire early if you’d like to partner with us on an upcoming project!

TO STREAM

Daylight hours are continuing to shorten, but we like to think of it as an opportunity for more cozy nights in. Luckily, there are so many great shows to stream, particularly in the home and travel genre. For anyone dreaming of traveling overseas, we’ve had a lot of fun binge-watching Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. It’s just the right balance of beautiful scenery and delicious food for a relaxing watch at the end of a busy day.

For the Love of Kitchens on the Magnolia Network is another great watch that’s become quite an obsession. The show follows the design work of deVOL Kitchens and has us dreaming of life in rural England.

TO NOTE

We’ve been teasing this news for months on end, but I promise our long-awaited rebrand launch is right around the corner. We have been working on this rebrand behind-the-scenes for the last year, and I am so excited to share with you the final result. Our rebrand will include a new website and a name, but rest assured our work and our mission will remain the same. More info coming very soon!
